SENDING TRAINING TEAM INTO CHINA
Tens of thousands of evangelists in China need not only excellent biblical tools, but also quality leadership training. The most effective way to meet this need is to send missionaries and training teams into their midst, to offer them 3 weeks to 3 months of intensive training courses on Bible and ministry. They are hungary for the Word. They need our gracious help to supply them with the rich church resources overseas.
You can participate in sending training teams into China in the following 2 ways:
1. Support CMI's China
missionaries
CMI's China missionaries are well-equipped in theology and ministry.
They are sent into China to provide leadership training. They need to trust
the Lord in providing their salaries and travel expenses. The salary for
one missionary is about $1,500 to $2,000 per month.
2. Support a Training Team
CMI recruits Chinese pastors, elders and deacons from overseas who can go to China to give 2 to 3 weeks of Biblical teaching. A CMI co-worker serves to coordinate the program and host the team. You can support this ministry by providing the travel expense which is $1,000 to $2,000 per trip per person.
An evangelist in China does not work just in one house church. Sometimes, he needs to run around in 20 to 30 meeting points to pastor the growing flock. A leadership training session enhances the life and ministry of 50 or more evangelists, and bring blessings to thousands of meeting points. Regular support for a China missionary or a training team at CMI is an effective way for you to help the church in China. The supported China missionary will contact you and send you his/her missionary reports and prayer letters on a regular basis.
